In 2006, NBMBAA embarked on a campaign to establish Collegiate Chapters on public and private campuses across the United States to encourage the matriculation of more African Americans from undergraduate into business school and to raise awareness of the value of business education among students pursuing other majors. The Foundation supports this visionary strategy.

At the center of our movement is the ongoing effort to increase the number of Blacks entering business school and securing the MBA degree. The Foundation provides support to the Association’s efforts to do so through public and private partnerships, alliance partnerships, mentoring and direct financial aid to qualified students. In addition, we support post-graduate study leading to the Ph.D. to help ensure that our presence within the academy becomes institutional. |
